Zoa is a prose writer, poet, student, teacher, and devotee of literature and other body art. She loves to write and read stories that challenge heteronormativity and that explore the weird, messy complexities of existing as a human body. She is a Libra sun but low-key identifies more with their Scorpio moon placement.
Currently, they reside in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and are an MFA candidate in fiction at Northern Michigan University. She is working on a novella that explores the intersections of queerness, veganism, family, and friendships old and new in a rural community.
